Pasta-cine challenge

Year 10 participated in a skills-based challenge called pasta-cine Ed-drop challenge where instead of wasting eggs, students had to safely transport a character made of spaghetti and plasticine from the ceiling to the floor. Students were required to think about scientific concepts such as air resistance, momentum and absorbing shock as some managed to parachute their spaghetti person to the ground without damage. Students have also selected their next projects from a range of exciting opportunities including STEM competitions, the MeDeVet programme, music technology and an IRIS project analysing tracking data from orphaned elephants in Zambia
