As part of the competition, our team of engineering students, Piotr, Lilly, Poppy, Heather, and Jakub are required not only to design and manufacture a miniature F1 car using professional CAD tools, but also to initiate and secure their own sponsorship. In keeping with real motorsport teams, they must independently build industry partnerships to support the development and competitiveness of their car.
To fulfil this element of the project, our students have formally reached out to organisations within the Northern Automotive Alliance, showing great initiative. Sponsorship will allow the team to enhance their engineering work, while offering companies meaningful visibility at national events attended by schools, industry professionals and educational leaders.
We wish them the best of luck! To read more, click here.
