Students have been exploring the science behind animation and the importance of frames per second using a Zoetrope.

This machine enables viewers to see several drawings in rapid succession to make a moving image. Students have developed fine motor control skills, and grappled with the logistics of making their images into a repeat loop. This work serves as an introduction to an animation topic, so watch this space for more moving images!
