On Wednesday, Claudia Francois, from the Department of Languages, Cultures and Film School of Histories, Languages and Cultures at the University of Liverpool, delivered a language session.

She delivered the motivational talk to all Year 10 Arabic and Spanish GCSE students.

The focus of the session was to get students thinking of the advantages of speaking a foreign language could bring them. Languages not only give you the chance to communicate with a lot more people, but it offers a whole new world of possibilities. Maria explored the various skills speakers of languages develop and what they can do with them.
