Invest for Success

Our Investec groups are nearing the end of the Investec ‘Invest for Success’ programme 2023/2024.

Invest for Success

One of the final stages consists of students having to present to a number of Investment Bankers currently working within the firm. The idea of the presentation is to give an update of one of their chosen stocks and explain how they has performed over the duration of this programme. Both teams from North Liverpool Academy done exceptionally well and spoke with great confidence and knowledge about their chosen portfolio. One of our teams ‘Cash Flow Crusaders’ came 2nd overall and obtained fantastic feedback from mentors and the judges. We are incredibly proud of all students who participated and know that each one will have benefited from this experience in terms of developing their key softer skills. The final stage is the awards evenings on 29th February, both teams have been invited to the Investec London headquarters for an ‘Investec experience’ day and then attend the awards evening later that evening. We want to wish both teams the best of luck with their final stock
choices and hopefully we will have another NLA winner at the end of the month.
