On the first day they explored the Tate Britain seeing works by renowned artists such as Turner, Millais, Lowry and Hepworth, before attending a production of 'Othello' at the Theatre Royal Haymarket.
The next day they went to see the collections at the British Library, before the literature pupils discussed the previous evenings' performance and the language pupils conducted a study asking members of the public about their perceptions of different accents.
They then headed to Keats’ House Museum in Hampstead for a guided tour, before finishing the trip with a hot chocolate at Leadenhall Market in the City.
Students demonstrated exemplary behaviour throughout the trip and did not complain about the time spent travelling or the appalling weather on the second day.
