This is what Anudhi had to say:

"Maths is a very challenging but interesting subject to study at university.  You learn concepts way more in depth than you expect but it’s super satisfying when things click and you form connections between modules.  You’ll also be taught real-life applications to things and will get to see how maths can be used in future careers such as engineering, finance, etc.

The module I enjoyed the most was financial mathematics, as it kind of made the most sense to me, and I enjoyed it a lot.

I never expected to study Maths at university, I always figured I would end up doing something more Biology/Medicine related but I had such an amazing experience studying Maths at GCSE and A-level in NLA that it convinced me to go further into it. I had some super inspiring teachers as well - Mr Duff and Mr Fardey. Despite being the only girl in the A-level Further maths class at the time, I never felt left out or intimidated, it was actually empowering and pushed me to work my hardest.

I would 100% recommend studying a STEM subject at NLA. One of the best decisions I made was to stay in NLA for A-levels instead of switching schools or going to a College. I had such a good support system and everyone was so incredibly lovely and made the whole university application process so easy and less daunting as well!"
