They spent time in a range of departments learning about lean manufacturing, GMP, engineering, microbiology, virology, vaccines and all the fascinating things that go on at the AZ site in Speke. Dr John Dyer had the privilege of joining them for their last day when they had the opportunity to hear from the senior leadership team about their roles in the company and their routes into those roles. The students were challenged to present to senior AstraZeneca staff what they enjoyed and learned during their time there. Thank you so much to John Whitfield for organising and to all the staff who supported our students, what an incredible experience for them. Thank you also to Oliver Dibben Jackie Davies Assoc CIPD and Claire Huson for your help with the vaccine project this year. I'm looking forward to seeing how the next group gets on in a couple of weeks' time.
