Liverpool Life Sciences UTC News |
Students gained understanding of the role therapy animals play in a variety of environments and the impact they can have on lives. A normal weekday for Mollie and Maggie is spent in a primary school as dog mentors where they interact with the children and teachers, in particular, enjoying the book corner where they relax on cushions with the children. Animal therapy has been found to improve mood, with dogs helping children when they are struggling so we would like to say a huge thank you to Mr. Baird, guardian of Mollie and Maggie, for the opportunity for our students to experience their paws-itive vibes!
