Sarah-Jane Linkman is an ex-student who then joined us as a member of staff and is now completing a Degree Apprenticeship in Technician Science at the University of Lancashire. She supports students in the lab and beyond every day while continuing her own development through cutting-edge scientific research. Her journey shows how we invest in our students beyond the classroom, empowering them to return as professionals and contribute to the future generation of scientists.
Josh Thomson is another ex-student who joined us as our Engineering Technician. He is now completing a degree apprenticeship in Professional Engineering at the University of Lancashire. Alongside teaching and supporting students, he continues to upskill himself while working on cutting-edge additive manufacturing projects. Josh is a fantastic example of how we support talent into employment while inspiring the next generation of engineers!
