Scanning Electron Microscope: Final Week on Loan as Part of This Year's Outreach Programme

Last weekend, our students took the Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) to the Manchester Museum of Science and Industry. It was an amazing success with over 580 visitors interacting with the SEM!

And on Saturday we were at the World Museum Liverpool to show how our students use cutting-edge technology in real scientific research. 

These outreach sessions are proudly led by our talented Year 10 Scholars, with support from Hitachi, Natural History Museum, The Institute for Research in Schools and Royal Microscopical Society
