Work Experience at Skyhook Games

Two of our talented students, Ben and Josh, began their work experience at a creative production house based in Liverpool, who provide high-quality art outsourcing for the video game industry.

Josh has a strong focus on art and design, while Ben has contributed to multiple projects and has a keen interest in programming.

When asked about his first day, Ben shared, “After arriving at Skyhook Games I was greeted by Cayne, Quality Assurance Lead, who guided me to their studio. Shortly after arriving, I met with Susan, Head of Studio at Skyhook Games who introduced me to all the members in the office before showing me and Josh around the office and how we would enter.”

Ben noted that once they had settled in, the Skyhook team outlined the agenda for their first day, which included quality assurance. Ben said “My first day at Skyhook Games was extremely insightful, teaching me more about the gaming industry and meeting the friendly staff of Skyhook.”

This is a long-term 2-days a week work experience placement with our partner Skyhook Games and we are looking forward to seeing what’s next in store for Ben and Josh, who are gaining valuable real-world life experience.
