NLA on BBC Breakfast

Nine students visited Anfield for a programme about knife crime. They were interviewed live on BBC Breakfast News, and then learned how to treat a victim of a knife attack.

Their teacher was Nikhil Misra, consultant general and trauma surgeon from Aintree Hospital. The students practised stemming blood flow and providing emergency treatment with volunteers from Knifesavers. They also learned the ABC. Alert, Bleeding, compression. The students followed the session with a tour of Anfield stadium, where they answered questions from members of the knifesavers team in the press room.
