| Liverpool Life Sciences UTC News |
A group of our Liverpool Life Sciences UTC Sociology students are taking part in a Talent Foundry Competition, designed to improve the sense of community in Liverpool. Sophie, Kita, Keavah and Sophie are focussing on improving the issue of homelessness by partnering with local coffee shop Paper Cup Coffee in Queens Square, to provide free food and drinks to homeless people so that they can help them continue their journey of giving a comforting free breakfast to our homeless friends.
If you would like to help this amazing initiative by raising hope one cup at a time then please donate via go fund me, where you can raise money for as little as £3 which can provide them with coffee and a hot breakfast along with a supporting place to socialise. Paper Cup Coffee will also be holding events to help the homeless create CV’s, socialise and network. We wish the best of luck to our inspiring students for the Talent Foundry competition, which could hopefully see them be awarded a free trip to Washington DC to watch the next presidential election. If you would like more information on the Paper Cup Coffee Project then please head to https://papercupproject.org/
