Malaga Trip

Our Language students had the privilege of participating in a cultural excursion to Malaga, Spain, funded by the Turning Scheme which provides funding for international opportunities in education.

On the first day, our students immersed themselves in Spanish lessons led by a wonderful team of native speakers that enabled them to improve on their linguistic skills.

The following day, they embarked on a boat trip to Malaga's port, followed by leisurely shopping time.

Day three saw them exploring Mijas hill top village, engaging with locals through interviews and experiencing a real flavour of the Andalusian way of life.

The penultimate day featured a visit to the Treasure Caves (Cuevas Del Tesoro) an underground labyrinth of separate rock formations and subterranean pools.

Their trip wrapped up with a flamenco lesson at a local school and culminating in a beachside closing ceremony at sunset.

What a memorable experience.
