This is a country-wide competition open to all UTC students. The competition asked for innovative digital solutions to problems in the NHS. The first prize went to Tate for a training scheme that simulates the experiences of deaf patients, second place went to Will for a QR code and app for use on tourniquets to reduce the number of avoidable amputations and deaths. Third prize went to Phoebe for her translation app which would improve the experience for patients for whom English is not their first language. In addition, students in Year 10 also gained very high marks notably Madison, Ellie-Mai, Borooq, Kaylece, Tasnim and Terteel. Huge congratulations to all these students!
