They have successfully undergone a rigorous application and induction process and they will complete over 100 hours of clinical work experience before July. Already they have learnt about various aspects of infection prevention and control, the importance of protecting the patients’ privacy and dignity whilst supporting their personal hygiene care and how to perform basic pressure area care. Our students will complete their placements at The Royal, Aintree or Broadgreen Hospital and, at the end of their process, they can join the staff bank or they can complete fast-track applications for any vacancies in the Liverpool University Hospitals.
