Her project focuses on researching and developing a range of sustainable bioplastics designed to replace thin-film, oil-based, single-use plastics commonly found in food packaging; an innovative step toward a greener future.
The Cool Comfort Project, developed by Willow, Emilia, and Olivia, involves the creation of a cooling, moisturising stick designed to relieve symptoms of menopause. Impressively, it has been shortlisted not only in its category but is also in the running for the competition's highest award: Young Scientist of the Year.
