Throughout the day, they heard from a range of multilingual speakers, including Steve Eadon, Maciej Matusiak from Merseyside Police, YouTuber UnJaded Jade, Bollywood dancer Dr Ria Meera, and Manchester Evening News reporter Ramazani Mwamba, who shared how languages have shaped their careers and opened doors around the world.

Students also took part in the exciting Languages Got Talent showcase, where Angelica, dressed in a wonderful flamenco dress, confidently performed a poem by Federico García Lorca.

Reflecting on the day, Saja in Year 10 shared: "The speakers really inspired me and made me realise that languages create opportunities. It made me think about my future and encouraged me to keep learning languages to give myself the best chances."
