Students were given a guided tour of the Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II (Birkenau) Memorial and Museum. Whilst on the visit, students were able to consider and reflect on the lasting impact that the Holocaust had on the lives of Jewish individuals and communities across Europe.

Their visit ended with a commemorative ceremony led by a Rabbi, where the group lit memorial candles for victims of the Holocaust. Students, as part of their ‘Next Steps’, will share what they have learnt with us and our community.
