The students were treated to an extensive tour of the facilities which included the hangar, flight deck, control towers and operations room before focussing on the medical ward and dentistry suite. Many of our students who went on the trip are considering careers in medicine or dentistry, or are considering opportunities in the armed services. This was a fantastic opportunity to find out more about the range of careers and training available in the Navy as well as an awe-inspiring experience just being aboard such a huge ship. It was also great to get such amazing views of Liverpool's iconic waterfront and skyline from the flight deck. They even got to sit in the captain’s chair, but don't tell the him!
