Students had the opportunity to find out more about public services as well as play in a football tournament. There were 40 teams involved in the tournament with one of our teams making it to the semi-final. More recently, 10 of our female footballers attended an audience with Natalie Dowie at Anfield stadium. Natasha is a very successful retired Liverpool/Everton and England footballer. She is also the first female ambassador for Liverpool Football Club. She shared her story, her ups and downs and how she strives to be successful in a male-dominated world. She spoke to students about resilience and never giving up on your dreams.
