Tom and Elliott went to the Leonardo Hotel in Liverpool to speak at the Labour Party Conference.  As part of the Labour government's 10-year national youth strategy, to involve trusted adults as a central pillar, Football Beyond Borders were able to be part of that conversation. 

Both Tom and Elliott spoke in front of a crowd, about the power of understanding young people and how trusted adults play a role in Elliott's life.  Alongside this, discussing the importance of football within Elliott's life and how Football Bayond Borders (FBB) has supported his journey so far.  

Tom was so proud of Elliott, for his courage to speak and how he told his story that evening, saying that Elliott held the attention of the room as he opened up and afterwards was met by audience members swarming him to thank and congratulate him for his talk.  "I am so proud of Elliott for how he continues to represent FBB, North Liverpool Academy and himself."
