NLA does Eurovision

There was a fantastic atmosphere in Liverpool for the Eurovision Contest and this week we continued the celebrations with our very own contest.

NLA Eurovision Contest

Ten students from each year were given a golden ticket to attend, chosen because of their excellent behaviour and kindness to others. Families and staff were invited to watch via a stream and vote for the winner. We had 14 countries competing with 16 students representing them.  Well done to Salote, Mirabel, Miracle, Estelle, Imisi, Hannah, Vian, Serena, Jamillah, Holly, Taniya, Adam, Ruby, Lawrence, Anna and Carmen for their excellent performances. Our winner by popular vote was Year 7’s Estelle representing Spain who will receive a gift voucher to take their family to a restaurant of their choice!  Well done to Year 9’s Adam representing Lebanon who came in third and and Anna representing Poland who came in second.
