STEM Activities with the University of Liverpool

On Monday, 30 Ignite students enjoyed a day of STEM activities at our sponsor university, Liverpool University.

STEM covers science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.  Students participated in workshops in spectroscopy, polymers, engineering and astronomy and also a session on university life and careers.  They had a brilliant time trying out the university labs and working with the university staff, a great day and many thanks to outreach at Liverpool University.
