A representative from Sellafield visited our Sixth form Engineering Students to discuss the 5-year Engineering Design Degree Apprenticeship (EDDA) that Sellafield currently have on offer.

The Engineering and Design Apprenticeship is based in Warrington away from the main site in Cumbria and has 7 soon to be 9 pathways to go down. Mark Duffy from Sellafield discussed what to expect on the 5-year degree, including the year by year curriculum and the opportunities each year of study can bring, as well as the unbelievable yearly salaries and bonusses that come with the Engineering and Design Apprenticeship. Mark spoke about how Sellafield also offer work experience for year 12 students, with 90 places up for grabs for future engineering students per year. For more information please go to
