Amongst the visitors was Melissa, a Liverpool Life Sciences alumnus who joined us in Year 12. Melissa graduated in 2017 and spoke to our students about her role as a scientist at AstraZeneca and told them how the additional opportunities available at our school helped her progress to her current role.
During her time at Liverpool Life Sciences UTC, Melissa did the following:
Melissa began working for AstraZeneca as Research Associate in the Analytical Development group in December 2020 and was then promoted to an Associate Scientist role in February 2022.
