Year 12 A-Level Biology students applied their ecology sampling skills to investigate the differences in species diversity in exposed and sheltered shores in Aberystwyth.

Students stayed at Aberystwyth University as part of their three-day residential. The university is renowned for excellence in marine and ecology studies. 

This hands-on fieldwork experience not only enhanced students’ understanding of ecological principles but also gave them a valuable insight into university-level research and potential future careers in environmental science.
