Gateacre Philosophy Club

On Tuesday 6th January, Gateacre Philosophy Club took part in the 2026 regional tournament of The Ethics Cup.

The tournament was held at Liverpool University where they confidently engaged with a range of controversial and challenging topics.

The students demonstrated impressive critical thinking, respectful listening and the ability to articulate their arguments clearly under pressure. They showed maturity in considering different viewpoints and responding thoughtfully to opposing opinions.

We are incredibly proud of the way they represented themselves and the school.  Huge well done philosophers!
